New York, NEW YORK and Oakville, ONTARIO (April 11, 2023) — The MuscleTech® brand (www.muscletech.com) has officially announced the signing of Andre Rush, a former U.S. Army® Master Sergeant, Mental Health advocate, star of Kitchen Commando on Tubi, author of best selling book “Call Me Chef Dammit” (a memoir) and a White House chef for four different administrations (President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama and President Trump).
Well-known for his large biceps, muscular physique and a fitness routine that includes 2,222 push-ups each day, Rush will be a key figure for MuscleTech® at events, in marketing, through media and on social platforms through 2025, including on the brand’s pre-workout, protein and creatine products. Rush made his debut as a brand ambassador at the 2023 Arnolds Classic® in Columbus, Ohio.

Originally from a different Columbus - Columbus, Mississippi - Rush played running back at Lee High School, a track star as well. Following high school, he enlisted in active duty in the U.S. Army®, and has been deployed several times, serving as a trainer for hand-to-hand combat for more than 1,000 cadets, airmen, soldiers, marines and civilians, and training more than 10,000 troops in the art of culinary services. Chef Rush holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Trident University and an Associate degree in Hotel Restaurant Management from Central Texas College® and Bachelor of Arts in Culinary at Stafford University.
His experience and roles in the military put him in a position to work at the White House. Starting under President Clinton, a job he would hold through four administrations – Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Trump. In addition to plating dishes and planning meals for some of the world’s most prominent and powerful people. While serving In the Pentagon, he would find himself in the building as America found itself under attack on September 11, 2001.
